Asalamualaikum wrt... I have a question regarding mortgage for buying a house in Canada? Is it permissible to buy a house using mortgage in any case since interest is involved? Please clarify this. Jazakallahu qair.

As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.
Wa`alaykumusalaam Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,
May Allah (SWT) reward you for reaching out and your concern in reference to purchasing a house in a permissible manner. Ameen.
Allah (SWT) says in the Quran in Surah Baqarah, ...وَأَحَلَّ اللَّهُ الْبَيْعَ وَحَرَّمَ الرِّبَا... (Ayah 275) (And Allah has made buying and selling lawful and usury (interest) unlawful). Similarly, in several places, the Quran strictly warns against the use of usury. Similarly, Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Allah has cursed the one who consumes usury, its client, its witness, and its recorder. Usury and adultery do not become widespread among a people except that they will become vulnerable to the punishment of Allah the Exalted.” (Musnad Aḥmad)
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَعَنَ اللَّهُ آكِلَ الرِّبَا وَمُوكِلَهُ وَشَاهِدَيْهِ وَكَاتِبَهُ مَا ظَهَرَ فِي قَوْمٍ الرِّبَا وَالزِّنَا إِلَّا أَحَلُّوا بِأَنْفُسِهِمْ عِقَابَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ
(Musnad Ahmad)
Therefore, buying a house with a mortgage (interest) will be strictly HARAM (prohibited).
